The Actress, Producer, Director, Scholar, Author. A veteran actress, Kathryn’s body of work includes notable performances across mediums including theatre, television, film, video, print, and radio. Kathryn has performed on regional stages from coast to coast, as well as internationally in Moscow, Russia. She has also had notable turns on many hit television shows including BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC), GREY’SANATOMY (ABC), FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (NBC) and many others.
Kathryn latest film, MAZERUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS, garnered over $300 million at the box office worldwide. She can currently be seen onstage in Shakespeare’s PERICLES at Marin Shakespeare Company in San Rafael, CA.

Founding Artistic Director and Executive Producer of Frontera Repertory Theatre Company. Kathryn created the institution to help build the region’s creative capital and fill a void in the cultural landscape of the Southwest. Kathryn’s mission was to create a cultural institution to engage audiences and push boundaries through the creation of a theatre aesthetic that resonated with the border town’s multicultural community. Frontera Repertory was dedicated to nurturing theatre artists and providing a professional artistic home where artists can contribute to the cultural enrichment of all who witness the reflection of humanity on its stages.
Through leadership, education and outreach, Frontera Rep was committed to creating a theatre of inclusion where dialogue was encouraged and diverse voices were heard. While at Frontera Repertory, Kathryn initiated a formal creative partnership with the University of Texas at El Paso’s Theatre and Dance Department. This combination of artistic capacities of a professional theatre company and an academic institution provided UTEP Theatre and Dance candidates with the unique experience of learning from and working alongside professional theatre artists.
As a professional theatre company in partnership with UTEP, Frontera Repertory enriched the academic experience for students through specialized training programs at UTEP, while engaging a culturally diverse audience, underserved local youth, and talented regionally-based artists. The Frontera Rep@ UTEP Educational Initiative provided community outreach and various curriculum enhancement opportunities.
Kathryn donates her time to many causes and has taken part in activities such as the United Way allocations panel, National History Day, and Black History Month, for which she has Philanthropic Activities given formal presentations to the United States Department of the Interior (El Paso), and the El Paso Veterans Health Care System.
Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Drama from the University of Michigan, a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University/Moscow Art Theatre School(Summa Cum Laude), and a Master of Public Administration in Policy Analysis from Baruch College where she graduated first in her class, Summa Cum Laude – Pi Alpha Alpha with top honors.
