Anne is a venture partner and coaches early stage companies and entrepreneurs in Ohio where she is a Venture Partner at Jumpstart working with Scale-Up clients in preparing and executing growth plans. Jumpstart was founded in 2003, through collaborative efforts of Ohio’s private, philanthropic and government leaders who wanted to bring “venture development” to Northeast Ohio—a unique mix of capital investment and intensive technical assistance for entrepreneurs. Their work spans a decade during which they have expanded their work to assist existing small business owners, as well as regional leaders who are working to create stronger economic ecosystems all across the U.S. Anne is a critical venture partner for the organization. She has an extensive background in finance and banking coupled with the unique experience of working with distressed businesses. Prior to JumpStart, Anne was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer for a private equity-owned jet engine parts manufacturer.
Previous to that she enjoyed a long career in banking rising from Loan Officer with the Bank of Boston to senior positions with Citicorp, Wells Fargo and Keybank responsible for managing portfolios of underperforming commercial loans.
Anne received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Smith College and her Master of Business Administration from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
